Things to Know Before the Home Openers
All-time Series
  • Saint Peter's will square off against Marist in the 42nd overall meeting, trailing the all-time series 15-26 since 1995.
  • SPU will be looking to end a two-game skid to Marist, losing both meetings in 2019.
  • The Peacocks last victory over the Red Foxes came in the first round of the 2018 MAAC Tournament, when SPU upset higher seeded Marist 3-1, claiming the program's first win in the conference tournament since 2006.
  • Sunday's tilt with the Saints will be the 44th all-time meeting between the sides dating back to 1995, with the Peacocks trailing the series 10-33.
  • SPU has stumbled in three straight to Siena, last defeating the Saints in Jersey City on September 30, 2018 by way of a sweep.
  • Although the Peacocks have lost in three consecutive matches to the Saints, each meeting has been competitive with SPU winning at least one set in all three setbacks.
