Coach's Quotes - Julian Richens:
-
It's always tough to lose the first game of the season after all the preparations in preseason.
-
It was a hard working performance away from home and we had a couple of chances to double the deserved lead we took.
-
Clearly we need to do a better job of seeing games out and being more disciplined, especially defending the counter attack.
-
With a big incoming group, it will take some time to get real fluidity in our attacking play. The work rate and team spirit has been there to see from day one and we will learn from this as we prepare for another tough away game on Sunday.
Up Next:
-
The Peacocks have a quick turnaround as they hit the road this Sunday, August 29, to take on Providence College in Providence, RI.
