- Saint Peter's University baseball will return to Jersey City this weekend for its final home series of the 2021 campaign against hOURglass Rival Monmouth.
- The Peacocks will meet the Hawks on Saturday and Sunday, May 8 and 9 at 12pm and 3pm.
- The Peacocks bring a 2-16 record into the weekend after dropping last weekend's series at hOURglass Rival Rider, before having a midweek series at Iona canceled.
- Senior captain Andrew Connor has been the offensive spark for the lineup, leading the team in batting average, OPS, slugging percentage, on base percentage, hits, runs, and total bases.
- On the mound, senior ace Ian Concevitch holds the team's lowest ERA and is the only pitcher on the staff with a complete game (2) under his belt.
- The Monmouth Hawks enter the rivalry set with a 16-8 record, coming off a 3-1 series victory over Marist last weekend.

- Saint Peter's and Monmouth have previously met 58 times dating back to the 1969 season.
- The Peacocks trail the Hawks 16-42 in the all-time series.
- Since Monmouth joined the MAAC in 2013-14, SPU trails it's in-state rival 4-11 in conference games.

Andrew's Amazing April
- During the Peacocks' first month of the 2021 stanza, Andrew Connor had the team's best bat and was a key piece defensively, leading to him earning Saint Peter's Peacock of the Month honor.
- Batting in the three-hole as the team's best all-around hitter, he posted team leading averages in hitting (.314), on-base plus slugging (.981), slug percentage (.514), and on base percentage (.467) and led the lineup in hits (11), walks (7), runs (5), RBI (3), triples (1), home runs (1), stolen bases (1) and total bases (18) in April.
- Defensively, he started all 12 games in center field and was responsible for 38 putouts, the third most on the team.
