LAWRENCEVILLE, NJ – The Saint Peter's University baseball team dropped the final two contests of the weekend's four-game set against hOURglass Rival Rider on Sunday afternoon in Lawrenceville, giving the Broncs the series sweep of the Peacocks. The Peacocks overall and MAAC records drop to 2-16 on the season, while Rider improved to 17-13 on the year.
Game 1

How It Happened
- Rider scored three runs in the home half of the first inning, to jump ahead 3-0.
- In the top of the second, Kyle Mahady drove in his first run of the season by hitting an RBI triple to left center that scored Parker Gray and made it a 3-1 ballgame.
- After keeping the Broncs off the board in the second, the Peacocks cut the deficit to one run in the third following Joey Vitiello's single to left field which brought in Sam Delcollo to make the score 3-2.
- Rider would give itself some cushion, scoring five runs in the bottom of the third.
- They would add one run in the fifth and eight more in the sixth to extend the lead to 17-2.
- Carlos Aldama Jr., drove in the final run of the meeting by way of an RBI single to right center.
Notes
- Six different Peacocks recorded a hit in the game, led by Mahady's triple.
- Mahady, Vitiello, and Aldama each logged an RBI, while Delcollo, Gray, and Andrew Connor all scored a run.
- Ryan Wappaus (0-2) got the starting nod for Saint Peter's, pitching 2.2 innings in the defeat.
- Rider's Frank Doelling (4-1) was the victorious pitcher.

How It Happened
- Rider scored all 14 of its runs over the game's first four innings, spearheaded by two six run innings in the first and third.
- Saint Peter's lone run in the final game of the series was driven in by Brighton Taylor in the top of the fifth.
Notes
- Connor led the team at the plate, going 2-for-3 in the last contest.
- Aldama, Taylor, Gray, and Nick Font also added one hit each, with Brad Barkema serving as the lone run scorer.
- Matthew Dubois (0-3) was dealt the defeat, while Joe Papeo (2-1) picked up the win for Rider.
