  • The series with the Stags creates a quick turnaround for the Peacocks, having just played a tilt at Manhattan on Saturday, Feb. 6.
  • Despite fighting back from an early 11-point deficit and gaining a lead to start the fourth quarter, the Peacocks ultimately fell to Manhattan on Monday, 75-70.
  • Redshirt-senior Kendrea Williams led the way for Saint Peter's in the offensive effort, scoring a game-high 20 points, while freshman forward Ajia James registered her second double-double of the season, finishing with 12 points and 12 rebounds in Riverdale.
Series with the Stags:
  • The Peacocks and the Stags will face off for the 88th contest in the all-time series on Monday night. As it stands, Saint Peter's holds an overall record of 38-49 against Fairfield.
  • The two sides split the regular season series last year, with the Stags securing a 67-48 win at home in the first matchup on Jan. 11, 2020. The Peacocks responded strongly however, finishing the second meeting with a 66-63 overtime victory off a buzzer-beater from redshirt-senior Taiah Thornton on Feb. 18.
  • Saint Peter's will look for the first victory at Fairfield since its 68-65 win over the Stags at Alumni Hall on Jan. 15, 2019.
The Best Things in Life are Free:
  • The Peacocks took advantage of their chances from the charity stripe in their Feb. 6 contest with the Jaspers, converting on 19-of-22 free throws in the game.
  • Saint Peter's shot 86.4 percent against Manhattan in their third meeting this season, which marked their second most successful performance from the line this season.
  • Williams was nearly perfect from the line in her 20-point outing, going 10-for-11 in free throws on the day.
Up Next:
  • The Peacocks return to Jersey City next weekend to host hOURglass rival Monmouth from Feb. 13-14. The times for both contests are forthcoming.
