- The Saint Peter's University women's basketball team is set to visit Niagara on Friday night at 6 p.m.

- Junior center Kassondra Brown dropped a career high 24 points in the loss. She also had a career high three blocks and matched her career highs in rebounds (16) and minutes (37).

- Brown has been a big factor for the Peacocks this season. She leads the team in minutes per game (30.9), scoring (15.3), rebounds per game (9.9), steals (19), assists (16), and blocks (5).
- Graduate guard Kendrea Williams is second on the team in scoring and the only other Peacock averaging double figures, scoring 12.6 points per game.
- Senior guard Binta Salawu played a great game against Coppin State, scoring ten points, adding four rebounds, and recording three steals.

- Williams is approaching the 2,000 point mark of her career, as she is currently sitting at 1,974 points.
- Williams ranks seventh amongst the active career scoring leaders in the country.
- She is also close to totalling 1,000 at Saint Peter's, as she only needs 183 more to achieve that number.
The MAAC Is Back
- Conference play opens up this weekend, with the Peacocks and the Purple Eagles kicking off the slate for the whole conference.
- Last season, the Peacocks made their way to the conference championship, achieving that feat for the first time since 2002. The Peacocks will be looking to build off of that success this season.
- Saint Peter's finished 10-9 in regular season conference play last season.
Close Calls
- Despite losing six games on the season, the Peacocks have shown great fight in those games, rarely going away.
- In the opening matchup with Rutgers, the Peacocks trailed by as many as 16 points in the third quarter, and fought back to get it to within five in that same quarter.
- Against Howard last Sunday, Saint Peter's trailed by as many as 13 points in the fourth, but were able to shave the deficit to six in that same quarter.
- Against NJIT last time out, the Peacocks trailed by as many as 16 before getting the NJIT lead down to just four points in the fourth quarter.
- In the matchup with Morgan State, the two teams were neck and neck the whole way, as neither team possessed more than an eight point lead. The Lady Bears pulled away late.
- Against Coppin State, the Peacocks and the Eagles were close throughout, including the Peacocks having the lead on multiple occasions. The Eagles pulled away late to take the lead.
