JERSEY CITY, N.J. – The Saint Peter's University women's volleyball team returned home to round it its out-of-conference slate against the University of New Hampshire on Thursday evening, as the visiting Wildcats took the match in straight sets.
New Hampshire ran out to a six-point lead in a set it never trailed and won it eventually won by 10 (25-15). Each team went back and forth early in the second stanza and the Peacocks were within three (15-12) at the media break, but the Wildcats ripped off an 8-2 run to close out the frame by a 25-14 margin. The hosts won 6-of-7 points late in the third as they attempted to extend the match and denied the Wildcats on back-to-back match points, but UNH would eventually take the third frame by a 25-18 tally to finish off the sweep.

Top Peacock Performers
- Senior Alanis Alvarado led the Peacock contingent with six kills, while classmate Angeleyshka (5) and sophomore Skylee Nelson (4) rounded out the leaders on offense.
- Graduate student Wildalys Soto stuffed the stat sheet on Thursday, sharing the team lead in digs alongside freshman Charlee Cordts with 11 apiece while also earning a team-high 19 assists.
- Soto, sophomore Alwen Pila and Cordts each had an ace apiece.
- Soto, Alvarado and senior Stephanie Rivera finished with one block.
