- The Saint Peter's University baseball team travels to its second of seven states it will visit during the 2020 ledger this weekend when the team heads to Kentucky to face Murray State.
- The Peacocks will play in a four-game set with the Racers from Feb 21-23.
- Saint Peter's enters the weekend 0-4 on the year, looking for the first victory of the season.
- Last time out, the Peacocks dropped a 13-1 decision to in-state rival Fairleigh Dickinson.
- Senior captain Hunter Mason was the most productive Peacock offensively, going 1-for-2 with two walks and one RBI in the game.
- Chris Marquart led the team in hits, going 2-for-4 at the plate on the day.
Inaugural Meeting
- Saint Peter's and Murray State have never met on the diamond before and this will also be the program's first series against a team from the state of Kentucky.
- This will be the second time the Peacocks face an Ohio Valley Conference team, having only met Tennessee Tech previously in a four-game series back in 2009 --- Saint Peter's went 1-3 in the series.
- Murray St. also enters the weekend series 0-4, having surrendered a three-game set to Southern Mississippi last weekend and a single game to Western Kentucky on Wednesday.
