HAMDEN, CT - Down by a goal with less than a minute to play, the Saint Peter's University men's soccer team rallied with a 90th-minute tally from junior
Alex Garcia to send the game to overtime, but host Quinnipiac ultimately won it in the extra session in both sides' conference opener on Wednesday afternoon in Connecticut.

- Wednesday's match was hard-fought by both sides, with no change to the score for the first 85 minutes of play.
- Quinnipiac's Eamon Whelan would put the Bobcats up 1-0 after a lone goal in the 86th minute of action.
