Manhattan Defeats Women’s Soccer in Jersey City on Saturday Evening

The Peacocks fell to Manhattan 2-0 in MAAC play

JERSEY CITY, NJ – Saint Peter's women's soccer fell to Manhattan College on Saturday evening, 2-0 at Caven Point Field. The Peacocks MAAC record drops to 1-2 on the season.
 
Game Notes
  • Manhattan scored on their first shot attempt of the day when Maddie Barrow fed Annie Doerr in the box where Doerr found the back of the net.
  • The Peacocks continued to trail in the opening half but got three shots (two on goal) off in the final 10 minutes before halftime.
  • The Jaspers added a goal in the second half on a breakaway that led to Barrow sending a pass to Eve Montgomery for Manhattan's second tally.
