• The Saint Peter's University Volleyball team begins its 34^th season in program history on Friday, August 24. 
• The Peacocks begin their season on the road at the Bucknell Invitational at Bucknell University in Lewisburg, PA for three matches.
• This is the second straight season the Peacocks open up on the road. The Peacocks lost their 2017 season opener to Lehigh (0-3).
• The last time the Peacocks won a season opener was in 2010.  

2018 Peacocks: 

• Head Coach Amable Martinez goes into his second season with the Peacocks. 
• The Peacocks return 10 letter winners this season. 
• Five players joined the squad this season: Angeleyshka Curbelo, Angelee Ng, Alanis Alvarado, Andrea Lombeyda, and Gabriela Castro

Scout/Series History: 

• Youngstown State University, Bucknell University, and NJIT all begin their season at the Bucknell Invitational.
• Youngstown State University won their last two season openers against Winthrop and Ball State.
• Bucknell University won their last three season openers against La Salle, FDU, and NJIT. 
• NJIT lost their season opener in the 2017 season. 
• The Peacocks beat Youngstown in 1999, (3-2)
• In 2015, the Peacocks beat NJIT, (3-2).
• This will be the 18^th time NJIT meets the Peacocks.

Up Next: 

• The Peacocks return to the court in Easton, PA against Lehigh University on August 27 at 3 p.m. 
• The tournament will be hosted by Lafayette College.
