EASTON, PA -The Saint Peter's women's basketball team earned its first road win of the season, defeating Lafayette 62-60 on Tuesday night. The win was the Leopards first loss of the season after they were out to a perfect 3-0 start.
Briyanah Richardson led all players with 28 points.

Game Notes vs. Lafayette
- D'Aviyon Magazine led all players in the first quarter with nine points, lighting it up from behind the arc, shooting 3 for 5 from deep.
- Two of her three 3-pointers came with under a minute left in the quarter, with a long three at the 59 second mark followed by another one at the buzzer to double up the Leopards, 18-9 at the break.
- Lafayette kept the Peacocks without a field goal until 2:53 left in the second quarter, with the only point coming from a Richardson free throw at 7:17, to close in at 19-18.
- It was another Magazine 3-pointer that ended the 11-0 Lafayette run and put the Peacocks back ahead, 22-20 with under three minutes to go.
- A Lafayette three and a Zoe Pero free throw left things tied at 23 heading into halftime.
- Magazine book-ended the third quarter with 3-pointers, hitting the first basket of the period and the final basket, the latter being another buzzer beater, this one from five feet beyond the arc, to put the Peacocks up by two heading into the final frame.
- Richardson took over in the fourth quarter, scoring 13 straight points to start the period, and finishing the quarter with 16 of her 28 points.
- Despite a close frame, the Peacocks held onto the lead the entire quarter, until Lafayette hit a 3-pointer with 12 seconds left to tie the game at 60.
- A Peacock foul on the next play and a Lafayette timeout gave the Leopards the ball back with seven seconds left, but Pero stole the ball on the inbound, and was fouled in the paint, setting up two free throws.
- Pero sank both go-ahead free throws, and the Leopards' final shot fell short, giving the Peacocks the 62-60 win.

- Richardson finished with a career-high 28 points to continue to lead the Peacocks with 17.8 points per game.
- She finished 4 of 6 from downtown and 8 of 10 from the charity stripe, while also snagging five rebounds.
- Magazine scored all of her points from beyond the arc, hitting six threes on nine shots for 18 points.
- Pero earned her second double-double of the season, finishing with 15 points and 13 rebounds, a new career high.
- Only four Peacocks scored points in the win, with Cinnamon Dockery also tacking on a free throw.
