Men’ Soccer Blanks Third Straight Opponent for Fourth Win in a Row

Marco Torino’s goal was the difference in a 1-0 win over Rider

LAWRENCEVILLE, NJ - The Saint Peter's men's soccer team continues to roll late in the season, picking up its third straight shutout win and extending the team's winning streak to four wins after edging rival Rider, 1-0 on Wednesday evening. The Peacocks' current unbeaten streak is now at five games.

  • Saint Peter's (8-6-2, 5-2-1) and Rider (5-9-1, 4-4) alternated shots throughout the first half, but neither team found the back of the net.
  • The Peacocks logged five first half shots, while the Broncs posted six.
