Women's Soccer Drop First MAAC Game of the Season to Quinnipiac

JERSEY CITY, NY – The Saint Peter's women's soccer team opened Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference (MAAC) play on Saturday afternoon at Jaroschak Field with a loss to the Quinnipiac University Bobcats. The Peacocks dropped the contest, 11-0, making the teams conference record start at 0-1.

 

The Peacocks were led offensively by Elizabeth Pacillo who recorded two shots with one on goal. Alyssa Conanan and Carlee Gonzalez each had one shot, with Conanan's on goal.

 

Defensively, Victoria Scarrat and Kelly Jamison both played 45 minutes in goal and they both recorded 6 saves each.

 

Quinnipiac was led by MAAC points and goals leader Nadya Gill who scored three goals and dished out three assists in the game. Kelsey Goldring added two goals and three assists for the Bobcats additionally.

 

The Peacocks travel to hOURglass Rival Rider on Wednesday, September 20 for a 7pm start.
