STATEN ISLAND, NY – The Saint Peter's women's soccer team fell 5-0 to Wagner on Thursday night. The win moves Wagner to 1-2-0, while the Peacocks fall to 0-1-1.

The Peacocks allowed two goals in the first half for the second straight game giving up goals at the 29th minute and 42nd minute marks of the first frame. Sydney McNutt led the way for Wagner scoring a goal in each half.

Peacock starting keeper Taylor McLean saved the first five shots she faced in the first half before surrendering the two tallies. McLean ended the game with 12 saves, which matched her career-best that she recorded last season against LIU Brooklyn on September 4.

The Seahawks outshot the Peacocks 26-to-8 and posted a 17-to-3 shots on goal advantage. Wagner also had 12 corners to Saint Peter's one.

Saint Peter's will be back in action on Monday August 29 when the Peacocks travel to New Jersey rival, NJIT. Kickoff is set for 4:00pm.
