EWING, N.J. – Alexandra Moffatt (Smithville, Texas/Smithville), Nkosi Pile (Atlanta, Ga./The Church Farm), Kenneth Brosier (Willingboro, N.J./Burlington County Institute of Technology) and Jermaine Lascelles (Bloomfield, Conn./Bloomfield) each recorded a first-place standing to pace the Saint Peter's track and field team at the TCNJ Invitational on Sunday.
Moffatt won the pole vault with a height of 3.75m for only top finish on the women's side. The junior also placed third in the triple jump with a leap of 10.50m.
Pile beat out teammate Michael Marcano (Roselle, N.J./Roselle Catholic) by .02 seconds to win the 100-meter dash with a time of 11.17. Brosier won the 400-meter dash with a time of 48.59 while Lascelles was first in the high jump with a height of 1.98m.
Marcano finished second in the 100-meter dash (11.19) and finished fourth in the 200-meter dash (22.40), placing .01 seconds ahead of Shaka Shomari's (Hempstead, N.Y./Holy Trinity) fifth-place standing (22.41) in the event.
Joe Egri was third in the pole vault (4.20m) while Percy Martin (Woodbridge, N.J./Woodbridge) finished fourth in the 110-meter hurdles (16.47).
Along with Moffatt's two Top-3 finishes, Britany Maragh (Nanuet, N.Y./Nanuet Senior) was second in the high jump (1.57m).
Suzenie St Germain (Linden, N.J./Linden) placed second in the 100-meter hurdles (15.59) and Georgie Nicholes (Center Moriches, N.Y./Center Moriches) finished third in the 1500-meter run (5:15.54) while Carolina Herrera (North Bergen, N.J./North Bergen) (100-meter dash, 12.60) and Jovanna Larose (North Brunswick, N.J./North Brunswick Township) (800-meter dash, 2:34.60) each registered fourth-place standings on the day.
Saint Peter's returns to action at the Wolfie Invitational on Apr. 23.
