Creighton scored its lone run in the first inning, off a RBI-single from Ellen Homan to advance Blair Lowe around the bases to give the Blue Jays a 1-0 lead.

Following her at-bat, both Samantha Storms (Lake Geneva, Wis./William Bay) and Michelle Tinajero (Elmwood Park, Ill./Elmwood Park) drew walks to load up the bases with just one out. The Peacocks were unable to convert, leaving the runners stranded.
The Peacocks also had runners on base in the fourth and sixth innings, but were unable to capitalize on the opportunities.
In the afternoon game, the Danes got on the board in the first inning. Albany scored four more runs in the second and third innings to take a 5-0 advantage.
Saint Peter's answered in the fourth inning, following a solo homerun over the left field fence from Lee Harrison (Las Vegas, Nev./Coronado) to cut the deficit. The Peacocks scored another run in the inning following a RBI-double from Taylor Corretjer (Thiells, N.Y./North Rockland) to only trail, 5-2.
Albany responded in the fifth inning, hitting back-to-back doubles to score a run and expand the lead, on its way to a 9-2 victory.
With the losses, Saint Peter's drops to 2-10 overall this season.
