Olivia Tucker was named to the Saint Peter’s women’s basketball staff for the 2024-25 season. Tucker joins the Peacocks from Sacred Heart University, where she spent the previous four years as a member of the Pioneer women’s basketball team.
 
Tucker, known as a tenacious defender and sharpshooter, helped lead Sacred Heart to a pair of NEC Conference Championships (2023, 2024), the 2024 NEC regular season title and two consecutive NCAA Tournament appearances, which included a 13-point performance in the team’s first-ever NCAA Tournament victory in program and conference history in 2023 with a 57-47 win over Southern University in the First Four.
 
Tucker was a Delaware All-State and All-Conference shooting guard at the Sanford School. She scored over 1,300 career points, was a four-time DCBA Top 15 selection, was selected for the All-USA Delaware Girls Basketball team, and was a McDonald’s All-American Nominee. As a senior, she helped lead her team to the 2019 Delaware State Championship.
 
A Delaware native, Tucker graduated Summa Cum Laude from Sacred Heart in 2023 with a bachelor’s degree in communications, public relations, and advertising with a minor in social entrepreneurship and innovation. She served as the Director of Communications for the University’s Public Relations Student Society of America (PRSSA) and completed an internship with the nationally syndicated Anna & Raven Radio Show. She completed a master’s degree in communications and public relations from Sacred Heart in 2024.
