Colin Wagner joined the Saint Peter's University Athletics Department as Assistant Athletic Director for Strategic Communications in December 2024. In his role with the Peacocks, he will oversee all communications efforts for athletics and website operations, while serving as the primary sport contact for men's basketball, women's volleyball and baseball. He will also assist in social media production through photographing, editing and reporting.
Wagner comes to Jersey City after working in the University of Colorado Athletics Communications office in Boulder for three-and-a-half years. While in Boulder, he served as the secondary contact for cross country and track and field in 2023-24 and volleyball and lacrosse in 2024. Wagner also served as the secondary contact for women’s basketball during the Sweet 16 run in 2024 and made the trip to Albany to help with media operations for the game vs. Iowa.

As part of his role with the Buffs, he wrote previews, recaps and features after interviewing athletes and coaches, recorded stats on NCAA Live Stats and StatCrew for basketball, volleyball and soccer and created and edited graphics through Adobe Creative Suite programs
In May 2023, Wagner earned his bachelor’s degree from the University of Colorado Boulder in journalism with a minor in sports media.
