Prior to Saint Peter's, Jackson was a member of Fernando Colon's coaching staff at Ramapo College. The Roadrunners went 25-2 last season, won the NJAC Championship for the first time in program history, and reached the first round of the NCAA Division III Tournament for the second time in program history. 

Jackson was responsible for the team's strength and conditioning program and provided leadership. He also coached as an assistant at Bloomfield College. At Bloomfield, the Bears won back-to-back CACC North Division Titles in 2021 and 2022, and the team made two consecutive appearances in the CACC Championship.

The New Jersey native was the former strength and conditioning coach for the Hudson Catholic Volleyball Team in Jersey City and the former assistant coach/ strength and conditioning coach for Sure Shots Volleyball Club, training anywhere between 15-60 student-athletes, ranging from 13-18 years of age. 

Additionally, Jackson graduated from Ramapo College with a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science in 2005 and from the Paterson Police Academy in 2010. Jackson is a former law enforcement official with five years of experience in public safety and maintaining a visible presence. From 2009-2014, Jackson served as a Patrol Officer for the South Brunswick Police Department, a Narcotics Investigator for Middlesex County Sheriff's Office, and a Patrol Officer for the Paterson Police Department.
