Vivek Kalola

Vivek Kalola joins the staff at Saint Peter's ahead of the 2022-23 season as the video coordinator.

Kalola spent last season at Division II Lincoln University as an assistant coach. His responsibilities included working with all facets of the Lions’ program, including video and recruiting, scouting and game planning, as well as player development and on-the-floor coaching.

Prior to Lincoln, Kalola coached at The Patrick School where he served as an assistant for the National Team. Before coaching at TPS, Kalola served three seasons coaching freshman boys and assisting the Varsity at Union High School, followed by six years as an assistant at Essex County College. At Essex, he was a part of teams that won six consecutive GSAC Championships, five consecutive Region XIX Championships, and made five consecutive appearances in the NJCAA Division II National Tournament with a runner-up finish in 2014.
 
Kalola attended Rutgers University, where he served as a three-year student manager for the Scarlet Knights men’s basketball program from 2002-2005 and was part of a team that finished as a runner-up in the NIT Championship in 2004. After earning dual degrees in Exercise Science & Sports Studies and Psychology – he joined the coaching staff at his alma mater as the program's special assistant from 2005-2007.

Kalola resides in Franklin Park with his wife, Pinki.
