Saint Peter’s To Face Final Nonconference Test In NJIT

NEWARK, N.J. – The Saint Peter's men's soccer team (2-3) plays its final nonconference game of the regular season on Saturday when the Peacocks take on NJIT (1-3-1) at Lubetkin Field at 6 p.m. ET.

The Peacocks are coming off back-to-back wins, taking down George Washington at home and VMI on the road. Saint Peter's is looking for its third straight victory while the Highlanders are searching for their second win over a MAAC team this season. Last Saturday, NJIT defeated Rider at home in a 1-0 game.

Tim Strele has been on a tear for the Peacocks so far this season, leading the team in goals with six. He has now scored in three consecutive games, highlighted by a four-goal performance against George Washington.

In net, Moritz Conrad has been heating up, allowing just four goals in four games, including only one in the past two games. He totals 19 saves on the season.

Saint Peter's is 6-5 all-time vs. NJIT...the Highlanders have won their last two matchups against the Peacocks…Strele leads the MAAC in goals (6) and points (12).
