JERSEY CITY, NJ. - The Saint Peter's Men's Basketball team is set to host Fairfield at Run Baby Run Arena on Saturday, Feb. 10 on Alumni Day. The game tips off at 2 PM and will be on ESPN+.

The Stags (record) are second in the MAAC standings with an 8-4 record in conference play.
Saint Peter's (11-10, 7-5 MAAC) is sixth in the MAAC standings. The Peacocks look to snap a three-game skid. Fairfield is coming off an 84-67 victory over Rider (8-15, 5-7 MAAC) on Thursday, Feb. 8.
In the first meeting between these two teams, the Stags defeated the Peacocks 76-67 on the road. Jalen Leach scored a career-high 29 points with eight rebounds, four assists, and two steals. Corey Washington scored a team-high 16 points with eight rebounds and two steals. The Stags went 27-54 (50%) from the field.
The Stags have three top-10 scorers in the MAAC. Leach is fourth in the MAAC with 15.9 points per game followed by Caleb Fields at sixth (15.6 points per game), and Bryce Goodine is ninth in the MAAC with 13.9 points per game. Fairfield's Jasper Floyd is second in the MAAC with 4.8 assists per game. Offensively the Stags average 76.6 points per game, which is second in the MAAC.
Saint Peter's is one of the best defensive teams in the nation. The Peacocks are 24th in the nation in scoring defense. SPU has held opponents to 64.6 points per game. The Peacocks are 10-5 this season when they've held opponents to under 70 points.
SPU sophomore Corey Washington is averaging a team-high 14.5 points per game and 5.8 rebounds this season. Saint Peter's senior Latrell Reid has tallied 10+ points in 16 games and distributed a team-high 87 assists this season. Reid is fourth in the MAAC with 4.1 assists per game.
Roy Clarke has scored in double figures in three of the last four games. Clarke scored a season-high 21 points in SPU's game versus Niagara (12-11, 8-5 MAAC) on Feb. 2 and 17 in SPU's loss at Quinnipiac (19-4, 11-1 MAAC)on Thursday, Feb. 8. In February, Clarke has averaged 14 points per game.
