Peacocks Softball Set to Compete in the Battle of the Bay Tournament This Weekend

JERSEY CITY, NJ - Saint Peter's Softball is looking to come off a 3-1 opening weekend and continue to build momentum.  While the Saturday game against Central Connecticut State has been postponed, they will play Buffalo and Hampton on Sunday.  

Who's Hot

• Cara McNulty and Dakota Pitts led the offensive charge last weekend swinging big bats for the Peacocks. 
• Freshman Sydney Palmer, 5th Year Sydney Senerchia, and Senior Kristen Brennan all got wins in the circle.

Newcomers to Watch

• Tai Turner drove in 6 runs last weekend in her first career series.
• Sydney Palmer had a win and a save in last weekend's contests.

About Their Opponents

• Hampton University plays in the CAA and currently has a 4-3 record.
• University at Buffalo is a MAC team with a 1-7 record.
• Central Connecticut State University is an NEC team who opens play this weekend.
