JERSEY CITY, NJ. - Saint Peter's men's basketball (1-4) opens conference play Friday night at Niagara (1-3). The game tips off at 7:00 PM at the Gallagher Center and will be streamed on ESPN+.
Overview
In SPU's last game at Rutgers, Michael Houge notched his first-career double-double on 16 points and 12 rebounds. Houge leads Saint Peter's in scoring with 12.4 points per game this season. Additionally, the Peacocks are currently 24th in the nation in rebound margin.
Niagara is coming off a 69-61 win against Saint Francis (PA) on Saturday, Nov. 25. Niagara's Ahmad Henderson II leads the Purple Eagles offensively with 16 points per game. Niagara was picked ninth in the MAAC 2023-24 Men's Basketball Preseason Coaches' Poll.
