PHILADELPHIA, PA- The Saint Peter's University men's soccer lost to Temple 3-1 on Tuesday night. Freshman forward Teodor Linn scored his first career goal for the Peacocks.
Game Notes
- The Owls scored two quick goals, scoring in both the tenth and 20th minutes.
- A Temple player was shown a red card in the 25th minute.
- Freshman midfielder Reiss Skeen recorded the first shot on target for Saint Peter's on the ensuing free kick following the red card. His attempt was saved.
- The score would remain 2-0 at the break.
- The first shot of the second half came from sophomore defender Daniel Blackmore, whose attempt was saved.
- Linn finally got the Peacocks on the board in the 58th minute after pouncing on a loose ball in the box.
- Temple answered two minutes later to retake a two goal lead.
- Saint Peter's was unable to get another goal back, as the score would finish 3-1 in favor of the Owls.
