Men’s Soccer Faces Final Road Test of the Season on Saturday

The Kick Off

• The Saint Peter's University men's soccer team continues conference play on Saturday as they visit Quinnipiac.
• Saint Peter's is coming off of a 1-0 over Siena on Wednesday. Fifth year forward Matt Hoyt scored the goal while senior midfielder Roodlenscky Charles and freshman forward Teodor Linn provided the assists.

Series with the Bobcats

• Saint Peter's will face off against Quinnipiac for the 15th time on Saturday.
• The Peacocks are 7-6-1 all-time against the Bobcats.
• Saint Peter's defeated Quinnipiac 2-1 in their last matchup on November 3, 2021 in Jersey City. Hoyt scored both goals while sophomore defender Daniel Blackmore and senior midfielder Fabian Schmid earned an assist. 

Playoff Push

• Saint Peter's currently sits tenth out of 11 teams in the MAAC standings. The top six teams qualify for the playoffs.
• The Peacocks are six points behind sixth place with four games remaining.
• The Peacocks have qualified for the MAAC Tournament the last four seasons.

Team Leaders

• Junior midfielder Conlan Paventi, Blackmore, and sophomore forward Mikkel Fodstad each have two goals this season. Freshman forward Lex Vaughan, freshman forward Teodor Linn, senior defender Tom Climpson, Hoyt, and freshman midfielder Reiss Skeen each have one goal for the Peacocks.
• Skeen has six of the ten assists recorded by Saint Peter's this season. He leads the team in points with seven.
• Fodstad, Charles, Linn, and senior defender Tom Climpson have the other four assists.
• Graduate goalkeeper Guillem Badenes Mecho has made 52 saves in 13 appearances.
