Tip-Off
- After a split on the opening weekend of MAAC play Friday and Sunday, Saint Peter's returns to non-conference play with a home contest against St. Francis-Brooklyn.
- The Peacocks come into the matchup coming off a 60-58 loss to Siena College Sunday at home while the Terriers fell 68-55 at home against Hartford College.
Spectator Policy
- All guests ages 12 and older must provide proof of a completed series of World Health Organization (WHO)-approved COVID-19 vaccination.
- PLEASE NOTE: Full vaccination is achieved two weeks following a person's second dose of a two-dose vaccine series such as Pfizer and Moderna, or two weeks after a single-dose vaccine such as Johnson & Johnson.
- Masks are required at all events inside the Yanitelli Center regardless of vaccination status.
- Proof of COVID-19 vaccination may be demonstrated by displaying a photo or hard copy of a CDC vaccination card, NJ DOCKET app, New York State Excelsior App, or an official vaccination record. We ask that you have such proof readily available prior to arriving at the venue.
- Anyone 18 years or older must also present an appropriate ID with proof of vaccination, which must contain the name of the individual, and a photo of the individual or the individual's date of birth. Examples of acceptable forms of identification include but are not limited to: a driver's license, non-driver government ID card, passport and/or school or work-issued ID card.
First Responders Night
- SPU athletics is truly appreciative of all first responders and their remarkable efforts. Because of this, tickets for Wednesday night's game against the Terriers for any first responders will be $5.Â
Looking Back at Siena
- Trailing by as many as 24 points in the second half, the Peacocks outscored Siena 24-4 in the final 7:20, including a 21-0 run over seven minutes of game action, but were unable to complete the comeback, falling 60-58.
- SPU held the Saints without a made field goal over the final 7:36 of game action but Siena was able to hold on with a pair of free throws from Colby Rogers in the last 0:12 of the game.Â
- SPU dropped to 2-4 overall this season and 1-1 in the Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference (MAAC) while Siena improved to 3-6, 1-1 in the MAAC.
- Junior Daryl Banks III led the Peacocks with 14 points, scoring all of them in the final eight minutes of the contest while chipping in five rebounds.
- Freshman Jaylen Murray also provided a spark off the bench, scoring 11 points going 4 for 6 from the floor and also dishing out a team-high four assists.

Notes and Nuggets
- Saint Peter's heads into the contest coming off a hard-fought loss against Siena Sunday after taking down Quinnipiac in the MAAC opener Friday night as they look for their third straight win against the Terriers.
- Headlining the group of returners is rising senior forward KC Ndefo, who claimed the honor of 2021-22 MAAC Preseason Player of the Year, as well as a spot on the preseason all-league first team. Ndefo averaged 12.0 points, 7.5 rebounds, 4.0 assists and 3.0 blocks over the weekend.
- Daryl Banks III, a Preseason All-MAAC Second Team selection, leads the Peacocks averaging 12.5 points per game this season. He now has four straight games with double digit points and was recently named the MAAC Student-Athlete of the Week.
- Junior guard Doug Edert joins Banks III in double figures with 11.2 points per contest with a pair of 17-point games to his ledger. Edert has scored in double figures in four of the Peacocks' six games.
- Fousseyni Drame is the team's leading rebounder, ranking third in the MAAC with 7.8 boards per game after a 13-point, 13-rebound double-double in the win over the Bobcats.
- The Peacocks head into the contest with one of the top pressure teams in the conference, ranking first in the MAAC and inside the top-40 in Division I with 17.33 forced turnovers per game.
