Things to Know Before Sunday's Game
All-Time Series
  • Sunday's showdown between Saint Peter's and Siena will be the 94th all-time game in the series dating back to 1950-51.
  • The Peacocks lead the all-time series 50-43.
  • Dating back to the 2015-16 season, the home team has won every single meeting, including the first matchup of this season.
  • The teams previously met on Jan. 9, in Albany, NY where Siena handed Saint Peter's its first conference defeat of the season by way of a 61-58 defeat.
  • Both squads will put their conference-leading three-game winning streak on the line when they line up across from each other on Sunday.

Super Showdown
  • Similar to the other Super game being played on Sunday, the matchup between Saint Peter's and Siena will be headlined by defense versus offense.
  • The Peacocks bring the MAACs top defense into the game, leading the league in scoring defense, scoring margin, field goal percentage defense, three-point field goal percentage defense, and blocked shots.
  • On the contrary, the Saints bring one of the conference's top offenses into the game, leading the MAAC in field goal percentage and ranking second in scoring offense.

Hitting Our Stride
  • Saint Peter's has been rolling over the past five games, leading the time of possession battle in all five contests.
  • Through the five games, the Peacocks are 4-1 and the squad has led for at least 32 minutes in all five duals.
  • The Peacocks led for 33 minutes at Quinnipiac, 32 minutes at Rider, 38 minutes vs. Niagara, 36 minutes vs. Monmouth, and 34 minutes vs. Manhattan.
  • Saint Peter's also earned convincing victories over the league's top-2 teams in Quinnipiac and Monmouth during the stretch.

Strong First Half
  • At the midpoint of the conference season, the Peacocks boast a 6-4 MAAC record and 4-1 home conference record.
  • The two marks are the best for the program since 2016-17 when that Saint Peter's team went 7-3 over the first 10 league games and posted an identical 4-1 home league record.
  • The six MAAC wins for head coach Shaheen Holloway matches his conference win total from his inaugural campaign last year.

Next Up

  • The sides will meet in Poughkeepsie, NY at 7 p.m. on ESPN3.
