  • Looking to continue its hot start to league play, Saint Peter's men's basketball travels to Albany's Times Union Center for a date with Siena on Thursday, Jan 9.
  • The game will air on ESPN3 with a 7 p.m. tip.
  • The Peacocks are seeking the first 3-0 start to the MAAC season since the 2015-16 season following wins at Iona and against Marist. 
  • Last time out, Saint Peter's opened the conference home slate in impressive fashion, throttling the Marist Red Foxes 66-40 on Sunday afternoon.
  • The Peacocks led for almost 38 minutes and dominated the Red Foxes in rebounding, turnovers, points off of turnovers, points in the paint, second chance points, and bench points.
  • Saint Peter's used a balanced attack with 12 different players scoring at least two points, led by Aaron Estrada's game-high 15 points.

  • Thursday night's meeting between Saint Peter's and Siena will be the 93rd all-time battle dating back to 1950-51.

Flawless MAAC Start
  • Following the opening week of the conference season, Saint Peter's is out to a perfect 2-0 start for the first time since the 2015-16 campaign.
  • It is just the 12th time in the MAACs 39-year history that the Peacocks have begun the league season with two straight wins.
  • The men will look to improve their record to 3-0 in the conference for just the 8th time ever, which was also done during 2015-16.

  • Saint Peter's men's team is getting it done on both ends of the floor in the early goings of the MAAC slate.
  • Offensively, the Peacocks lead the conference in three-point field goal percentage, making .475 percent of their attempts and the team ranks fourth in points per game, averaging 70.5 points per outing.
  • On the defensive side of the ball, the squad has the top ranked scoring defense and field goal percentage defense, only allowing a league-low 57.0 points per game and holding opponents to a league worse .385 shooting from the field --- the team is also fourth in steals and forced turnovers. 
  • With a balance on both ends of the floor, Saint Peter's is the only team in the conference with a scoring margin above 10, posting a MAAC best plus 13.5 scoring margin --- the next closest team being Rider at plus 9.
