Things to Know Before Friday's Game
hOURglass Rivalry
  • The hOURglass Rivalry between Saint Peter's and Rider will hold its 68th all-time meeting between the New Jersey rivals dating back to 1942-43.
  • The Peacocks trail the all-time series, 30-37 overall and 20-33 since the teams have been conference foes in the MAAC.
  • The teams are 5-5 over the past 10 meetings, with Rider winning four straight regular season meetings, while Saint Peter's has won two MAAC tournament games during the period of time.
  • Saint Peter's last win at Rider came three seasons ago, when the Peacocks won 71-65 on Jan. 15, 2017.
Roadblock
  • Sophomore forward KC Ndefo is the league's current leader in blocked shots, swatting 3.5 shots in MAAC games and 2.9 shots per game overall.
  • Ndefo has been particularly at his best on the road --- in games away from Jersey City, he has individual performances of six blocks (LIU and Quinnipiac), five blocks (Siena and Fairfield), and four blocks (Iona).
  • Ndefo's 29 blocked shots in road contests alone are more than any other conference player's total blocks combined this season.

MAAC Freshman Honors
  • On Monday, Hassan Drame earned his second MAAC Pepsi Zero Rookie of the Week award.
  • Hassan, along with his twin brother Fousseyni Drame and fellow classmate Daryl Banks III have combined to win four total MAAC rookie honors this season.
  • The four weekly awards by three different freshmen are the most by a school since Fairfield had four separate rookies win four total weekly awards in 2015-16.

Next Up
  • Succeeding the three-game road stretch, the Peacocks will remain home for the next four games from Jan. 26 through Feb. 2.
  • The four-game home stanza tips on Sunday, Jan. 26 with Niagara.
