  • Dallas Watson got the rally started with back-to-back baskets on consecutive possessions for the Peacocks, followed by a putback two-handed slam dunk from Majur Majak and a fastbreak layup by Daryl Banks III to give the Peacocks a six-point advantage.
  • The Terriers slowly closed the gap and knotted the game back up at 22 and 25.
  • Before intermission, Doug Edert knocked down two triples, to help the Peacocks outscore St. Francis Brooklyn 8-3 over the final four minutes, taking a 33-28 lead into the locker room.
  • Saint Peter's dominated the second half, holding the lead for the entire 20 minutes.
  • The Peacocks largest lead came at the 12:54 mark, when Banks hit Aaron Estrada in the corner for a contested three-pointer that gave Saint Peter's a 44-35 lead.
  • St. Francis Brooklyn didn't go away easily, with the Terriers cutting the Peacocks lead to one points twice, late in the game.
  • Leading by a single point with under four to play, Edert was fouled on a three point attempt and the freshman guard knocked down all three to extend the score to 55-51.
  • The victory was secured following a trifecta from Matthew Lee and a late layup by Edert, plus free throws, leading to the first win of the year.
