Jamie Davis and freshman defender
Tom Climpson each scored their first goal for the Peacocks to level the game at 2-2 in the second half before junior midfielder

Game Notes
- The Peacocks struck early in the match, when Davis received a beautiful feed from classmate Matt Hoyt, burying a low, hard shot past the Marist keeper in the 10th minute.
- The Red Foxes weren't far behind, however, and less than eight minutes later, Antek Sienkiel evened things up for the team from Poughkeepsie at the 18 minute mark.
- The score would remain unaltered through the rest of the first half, with each side searching for an advantage.
- That change would come in the 52nd minute by way of a Marist goal off the boot of Steffan Copetti, giving the Red Foxes a 2-1 lead with more than 35 minutes left on the clock.
- The Peacocks were not to be outdone though, and in the 81st minute, Climpson received the helper from fellow defender Frederik Lindqvist to score the equalizer with less than 10 minutes remaining in the match,
- It looked as though the match would be heading into overtime until Jowers took the ball up on the near side of the field and advanced into the box, beating his defender and chipping the ball past a sprawled out Marist keeper to give the Peacocks their first lead of the second half, and what would ultimately be the game winner.
