Opening Words

The Saint Peter's men's soccer team hits the road for the next three contests beginning on Friday, August 31 with a non-conference meeting at the University of Massachusetts (UMass) in Amherst, MA.
Friday's game will be the first road game of the season for Saint Peter's after playing the first two games in Jersey City.
The Peacocks are currently 0-2 after falling to Cal Baptist and Saint Joseph's at home.
Saint Peter's will be looking to avoid the program's first 0-3 start since 2011.

Scout/History

The UMass Minutemen will be the second straight Atlantic 10 member the Peacocks face.
UMass enters the game winless, with a 0-1-1 mark, falling to UMass Lowell in the season opener and tying with Sacred Heart 1-1.
The game will be the first home contest for the Minutemen.
Friday's meeting with Saint Peter's and UMass will be just the third matchup in the short history between the two programs.
The first two meetings between the teams occurred in 2015 and 2016, with the Peacocks winning the inaugural match 3-0 before tying in the last game to take a 1-0-1 series lead.

The Peacocks have a full week break before returning to the pitch on Friday, September 7 and Sunday the 9th at the Peter Baldwin Classic in Burlington, VT. The Peacocks will meet Central Connecticut State on Friday at 3:30 p.m. and Fairleigh Dickinson on Sunday at 1 p.m.
