Box Score BUFFALO, NY – The Saint Peter's baseball team gave up the opening game in the Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference (MAAC) weekend series to Canisius on Saturday in Buffalo, NY. The Peacocks fell, 16-2.
Cole Robbins (Toms River, NJ / Toms River East) hit an RBI single to right field in the top of the fourth, which led to a scored run by Nick Ciocco (Cherry Hill, NJ / Cherry Hill). In the sixth, Chris Marquart (Hackettstown, NJ / Morris Catholic) hit an RBI double to right center which scored Robbins.
The Peacocks and Golden Griffins will continue their series with a doubleheader on Sunday, April 8 with the first game set to start at 2 p.m.
