Box Score JERSEY CITY - The Saint Peter's women's basketball team dropped its conference series to the Iona Gaels on Thursday night, falling, 55-31, at the Yanitelli Center.
Ashlie Howell led the team with five points while Zoe Pero added the team's high of seven rebounds.
The Peacocks ended the first half trailing the Gaels 27-13. The Peacocks were 6-19 from the field and shot 31.6 percent from the floor.
In the second half, the Gaels outscored the Peacocks 28-18. The Peacocks shot 42.8 percent from the floor and were 66.7 percent from the free throw line.
Saint Peter's will be back in action on Monday February 19. The team will host the Fairfield Stags in the Yanitelli Center at 7 p.m.
