Davauhnte Turner Scores Game-High 20 Points in Loss at NC State

RALEIGH, NC – Senior guard Davauhnte Turner led all-scorers with a game-high 20 points on Tuesday night in Raleigh, NC against NC State. The Peacocks dropped the contest to the Wolfpack 85-57.
 
Game Notes

• Saint Peter's (1-3) started the game fast and efficient, getting out to a 13-10 lead on 6 of 9 shooting from the floor (66.7%) and 1 for 1 shooting from behind the arc.
• Four of the Peacock starters scored a basket during the early game lead.
• Samuel Idowu scored the Peacocks 13th point at the 15:42 mark.
• Following the three-point lead by Saint Peter's, NC State responded with a 40-6 run that kept the Peacocks without a field goal for over 12 minutes.
• The Peacocks ended the drought with back to back layups from Idowu and Dallas Watson to cut the game to 50-23.
• By the half, the Peacocks trailed 59-27.
