Women’s Volleyball Loses to Marist in Final Road Match of the Season

POUGHKEEPSIE, NY -The Saint Peter's women's volleyball team dropped its final road match of the season, falling to Marist in New York on Sunday afternoon in four sets (14-25) (15-25) (25-15) (16-25). 
 
Game Notes vs. Marist:

• The Peacocks (6-23, 3-12 MAAC) came up short in their final road match of the season against Marist College. 
• The Peacocks dropped the first two sets losing (14-25) (15-25).
• The team came back in the third set, winning (25-15).  
• The Red Foxes pulled away for the final set (16-25) to take the win. 

Inside the Numbers:

• Karen Ramiu recorded her seventh double-double of the season, finishing with 13 kills and 10 digs.
• Karla Seda finished the match with a team high of 16 digs and five services aces.
• Alanis Alvarado and Yaidelis Lopez-Jimenez both finished with six digs against Marist.  
• Angelee Ng dished out 24 assists and six digs to finish the match.
