Women’s Volleyball Drops Match to Top Ranked Iona

NEW ROCHELLE, NY - The Saint Peter's women's volleyball team lost to Iona on the road Wednesday night in New Rochelle, NY.
 
Game Notes vs. Iona:

• The Peacocks (6-19, 3-8 MAAC) came up short against Iona College, dropping the match in three sets. 
• The team fell in three close sets (16-25) (17-25) (19-25). 

Inside the Numbers:

• Alanis Alvarado had a team high of nine kills, while also finishing with nine digs.
• Karen Ramiu finished with eight kills and 13 digs.
• Karla Seda finished with a team high of 14 digs against the Gaels. 
• Angelee Ng dished out 21 assists and also earned six digs against Iona.
