LAWRENCEVILLE, NJ - Ken Brosier (Willingboro, N.J. / Burlington County Institute of Tech.) won the 400 meter dash, running a time of 48.19 and qualifying for the IC4A Championship meet. Jermaine Lascelles (Bloomfield, Conn. / Bloomfield) placed third in the 400 meter dash (49.31), securing third place and came in second overall in the men's high jump with a height of 2.03 meters.
The men's 4x100 meter relay team placed second overall with a time of 41.57 seconds. This time qualifies the relay team for the IC4A Championship meet. The men's 4x400 meter team ran a time of 3:22.41 minutes, placing third.
Mike Marcano (Roselle, NJ / Roselle Catholic) and Nkosi Pile (Atlanta, Ga. / The Church Farm) placed fourth and fifth in the 200 meter dash, running 21.87 seconds and 21.96 seconds, respectively.
On the women's team, Hajara Abubakar (Garfield, N.J. / Garfield) jumped 10.65 meters in the women's triple jump, placing fifth overall and scoring four poins for the team. Adia Ledbetter (Linden, N.J. / Roselle Catholic) and Aicha Elola (Jersey City, N.J. / Lincoln) threw 12.19 meters and 11.89 in the women's hit put, respectively. Elola and Ledbetter tallied three points total for the women's team. In the women's discus, Amanda Marcelin (West Orange, N.J. / West Orange) placed seventh, throwing a distance of 34.31 meters.
The Saint Peter's women's team dominated women's high jump with Meredith Przybocki (Pine Bush, N.Y. / Pine Bush), Hassana Smith (Newark, NJ / Malcolm X. Shabazz), and Britany Maragh (Nanuet, N.Y. / Nanuet) Senior tallying 12.5 points. Przybocki and Smith tied for third with jumps of 1.55 meters.
The women's 4x100 meter relay placed seventh overall, running a time of 50.50 seconds.
Saint Peter's men's track team placed fifth overal with 51 points. The women's track team placed seventh overall with 32 points. Combined, Saint Peter's placed sixth with 83 points.
