PRINCETON, N.J. – The Saint Peter's men's track and field team competed at the IC4A Outdoor Track And Field Championships on Saturday.
The 4x100 relay team of Michael Marcano (Roselle, N.J./Roselle Catholic), Shaka Shomari (Hempstead, N.Y./Holy Trinity), Gadimi Dorielan (Fords, N.J./Colonia) and Nkosi Pile (Atlanta, Ga./The Church Farm) finished 12th in the preliminaries with a time of 42.88.
Marcano finished 18th in the 100-meter dash preliminaries (10.76) and 26th in the 200-meter dash preliminaries (48.23) while Jermaine Lascelles (Bloomfield, Conn./Bloomfield) placed 21st in the 400-meter dash preliminaries (48.23).
Lascelles will return to the IC4A Championships to compete in the high jump while Alexandra Moffatt (Smithville, Texas/Smithville) is slated to participate in the pole vault in the ECAC Outdoor Track And Field Championships on Sunday.
