Wagner then got out of the jam after a scorching line drive out to third base and a popup to hold on for the victory.

Karen Prihoda, who went 4-for-4 in the game, started a three-run rally in the third with an RBI single up the middle. Aerika High then hit an RBI single to left before Maite Reece hit a sacrifice bunt to plate the third run for a 6-0 margin en route to the 6-2 win.

Wagner scored 11 runs in the first three innings of the second game to complete the doubleheader sweep with an 11-0 victory.

The Seahawks scored five times in the first to grab a 5-0 lead. Hana Gilbert got the scoring started with an RBI single down the left field line before Jessica Carlucci hit a sacrifice fly. A Saint Peter's error helped the Staten Island program score three more runs in the stanza on RBI singles by High and Massaro and a run-scoring double by Krumbine.

Back-to-back solo homers to right center by Gilbert and Jessica Carlucci in the second extended Wagner's margin to seven runs.

The Seahawks started a four-run third with consecutive homers after Krumbine hit a two-run homer to right center and Brianna Tredway had a solo shot to left before Maddie Marable capped the inning with a run-scoring single to left.

The Jersey City team got runners on first and second with less than two outs twice in the second game, but could not score.

In the second, Samantha Storms (Lake Geneva, Wisc./William Bay) doubled to left center to start the frame before Harrison walked. Wagner got out of the jam with a groundout, a strikeout and a fly out.

With one out in the third, Riley singled to right center and Kirsten Kelley (Seaford, N.Y./General Douglas McArthur) walked only to see a fly out and a foul out end the threat.
