Box Score FAIRFIELD, CT - Saint Peter's women's volleyball fell to top ranked Fairfield on Sunday afternoon.
Marlena Budna and Amanda Colombo posted five kills while Meredith Przybocki Posted a .375 kill percentage.
"We went into today's match knowing how tough it would be," said head coach Monica Dempsey
The Peacocks had a tough battle against the Stags who just recently clinched the MAAC regular season title, as they dropped the match 0-3 (9-25, 13-25, 11-25).
"We focused on our serve receive and learned how to stay focused in tough situations," said Dempsey. "It was extremely challenging but we definitely learned a lot by playing such a power house."
The Peacocks will head to Lawrenceville, NJ to play against hOURglass rival, Rider on Saturday, Nov. 5th.
