HAMDEN, CT - Saint Peter's women's volleyball dropped a road contest to Quinnipiac Saturday afternoon at the Burt Kahn Gymnasium.
Marlena Budna led the Peacocks with eight kills posting a .389 hitting percentage. Sophomore, Kenyale McGinnis, added a team high of eight digs.
The Peacocks had a tough matchup against the Quinnipiac Bobcats as they fell 0-3 (25-11, 25-18, 25-11).
"Being down a libero today was tough but an exciting challenge," said head coach Monica Dempsey. "Quinnipiac is a great team this season, so I'm happy we rallied as hard as we did."
The Peacocks will be back in action tomorrow as they face the Fairfield Stags to complete their two-game series.
