EUGENE, Ore. – Senior Isaiah Harris (Orange, N.J./Immaculate Conception) earned All-America honorable mention status after finishing 19th in the high jump at the NCAA Outdoor Track & Field Championships on Friday.

Harris missed all three opportunities at the 2.15m height to finish tied for 19th with Reggie Nelson of Coastal Carolina, who recorded the exact same marks as Harris.
The senior earns his second All-America honorable mention at the NCAA Outdoor Track & Field Championships in his career. Harris finished 22nd two years ago at the biggest collegiate stage in the triple jump with a leap of 15.22m. He also earned All-America honorable mention at the 2014 Indoor Track & Field Championships after finishing 14th in the high jump on Mar. 15.
Harris advanced to the NCAA Outdoor Track & Field Championships after finishing ninth in the high jump with a height of 2.14m at the NCAA Outdoor Track & Field Preliminary Round on May 31.
The senior finished his standout four-year career on a high note after sweeping the jumps (long, triple and high) at both the indoor and outdoor MAAC Championships to be named the Most Outstanding Field Performer at both championships. Harris was also named the Most Outstanding Field Performer at the 2013 MAAC Outdoor Track & Field Championships after sweeping the three jumps.
Harris is the only Saint Peter's athlete in team history to advance to the NCAA Track & Field Championships and he accomplished the feat in both the indoor and outdoor venues and the only athlete to earn All-America honors. The 18-time MAAC Champion was also the program's first-ever IC4A Champion in 2013.
