EWING TOWNSHIP, N.J. – The Saint Peter's track and field team competed TCNJ Lions Invitational on Saturday.
Isaiah Harris (Orange, N.J./Immaculate Conception) finished second in high jump with a 2.05 meter effort. Hasaana Smith (Newark, N.J./Malcolm X. Shabazz) finished in a six-way tie for third place in the high jump with a leap of 1.61 meters.
Alexandra Moffatt (Smithville, Texas/Smithville) tied for fourth in pole vault event, recording a performance of 3.20 meters. Paige Vicari (West Deptford, N.J./West Deptford) finished 24th with a 2.45 meter effort.
Raquel Henderson (Ocean Twp, N.J./Ocean Township) placed fourth in the 400 meter dash, notching a time of 58.94 seconds. Shona Potrzuski (Pitman, N.J./Pitman) came in second in the 400 meter hurdles with a 1:03.90 effort. Sunita Kumar (Munich, Germany/Gymnasium Kirchheim) finished in third place in the 100 meter hurdles, recording a time of 14.57 seconds. Kumar came in sixth in the triple jump with a jump of 11.19 meters and finished fifth in the javelin throw with a throw of 36.08 meters.
Dexter Valley (West Orange, N.J./West Orange High School) finished fifth in the 100 meter run with a performance of 11.07 seconds. The group of Michael Marcano, Valley, Tevin Cunningham (North Bergen, N.J./North Bergen) and Jamel Presley (Rochester, N.Y./Rahway High School) finished second in the 4x100 meter relay with a recorded time of 42.75 seconds.
The squad returns to action on May 6 to compete in the Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference (MAAC) Outdoor Track and Field Championships.
