Saint Peter's jumped out to the early lead before George Washington scored the final nine runs to come back for a 11-4 victory.

After the Peacocks scored a run in the fourth for a 4-1 advantage, the Colonials answered with a run in the bottom of the inning on Campbell's RBI groundout to trim the margin to 4-2.

George Washington took the lead in the sixth after RBI singles off the bat of Matthieu Robert and Cody Bryant and an RBI fielder's choice by Kashi to take a 5-4 lead.

Campbell recorded his second RBI of the afternoon on a run-scoring single in the seventh to center to increase the margin to 6-4.

The Peacocks had a great chance to add some runs in the eighth, but could not convert. Henry opened the inning with a single through the right side and moved to second on DJ Nozza's (Belle Mead, N.J./Montgomery) walk. After a fielder's choice forced out Henry at third, Cardamone reached on a single to the pitcher to load the bases with one out.  A fielder's choice forced the runner out at home and a groundout ended the threat.

After getting out of the jam in the top of the inning, the Colonials added five runs in the bottom of the frame to seal the victory. Gibbons-Fly started the rally with a three-run double down the left field line before Andrew Selby and Robert each added an RBI to cap the five-run inning and the 11-4 decision.

Saint Peter's got on the scoreboard to open the game with two runs in the first. Kristoffersen led off the game with a double to right and Henriquez single to left before Rawson plated both runs with a two-run triple to right center for a 2-0 lead.

George Washington answered with a run in the bottom of the first to trim the margin in half at 2-1 thanks to a Owen Beightol sacrifice fly to center.

The Peacocks added a run in the second to restore the two-run lead at 3-1. Michael Wulff (Madison, N.J./Madison) singled through the left side before Nick Cardamone (Freehold, N.J./Freehold Township) and Kristoffersen both walked to load the bases. Ramirez played Wulff on an RBI fielder's choice ground out for the second out of the inning.  On the next play, Henriquez reached on an infield single, but Kristoffersen was thrown out trying to score from second to end the threat.

Saint Peter's increased its lead to 4-1 with a run in the fourth. Kristoffersen was the catalyst once again after reaching on a single up the middle and moving up to second on a stolen base. After the sophomore moved to third on Ramirez's single up the middle, Henriquez plated Kristoffersen with a sacrifice fly to right field to make it a three-run game.

The Colonials then scored the next nine runs to come away with the victory.

Mark Wilson (Clark, N.J./Arthur L. Johnson) took the loss for the Peacocks.

Saint Peter's returns to action on Friday at the Big Five Baseball Bash in Villanova, Pa. The Peacocks will face Connecticut on the first day of the tournament at 4 p.m.
