The Saint Peter's University track and field teams will compete in two separate meets over the weekend. The team will split up, as select individuals will either head to the Metropolitan Championships in Mawah, N.J. or the Mason Spring Invitational held in Fairfax, Va.

Last Time On The Track For Saint Peter's: Last weekend, the Peacocks also competed in a pair of meets at the Sam Howell Invitational and the Queens College Invite...Shona Potrzuski's led the women at Queens with a first place finish in the 800m Run coming in at 2:23.79, while Lance Weaver continued his strong rookie campaign on the men's side; just missing first place in the 800m Run with a time of 1:59.76...at the Sam Howell Inivtiational, Isaiah Harris led all Peacock performers, clinching a first place finish in the Triple Jump with a leap of 15.13m...with the finish, Harris has now finished in the top three in the event in every outdoor meet he has competed in thus far in the season...
Three-Peat : The women's indoor track and field team secured their third consecutive MAAC Indoor Championship on February 15th at the New Balance Armory Track & Field Center...the Peacocks secured their third straight title by finishing with a team score of 185.5...Rider University came in second with 164.5 and Manhattan College followed in third place with a score of 122.5...Iona College finished with 59 points, followed by Loyola University Maryland (50.5) and Marist College (32)...Sophomore Jamelia Johnson was voted the Most Outstanding Performer in field events after capturing first place finishes in both the Long Jump (5.81m) and Triple Jump (11.44m)...
At The Helm : Head Coach Mike Massone is in the middle of his sixth year at the helm of the Saint Peter's track and field program...Massone is a three-time MAAC Indoor Women's Coach of the Year, most recently receiving the honors following this year's 2013 Indoor Championship...Massone is also a two-time MAAC Outdoor Women's Coach of the Year...
