Prior to today's tipoff, seniors Darius Conley, Blaise Ffrench, Karee Ferguson, Chris Prescott and Yvon Raymond will be honored for their contribution to the men's basketball program. Today marks the first meeting of the year between the Peacocks and Golden Griffins. Last year, Saint Peter's won both match ups against Canisius.

Saint Peter's entered the half-time break tied at 31 with the Broncs, but were out-scored by a 41-26 margin in the second stanza to result in the loss. The Peacocks showed a balanced attack on the offensive end; as each player who saw action, with the exception of one, finished with at least 2 points.
Today marks the 68th meeting between Saint Peter's and Canisius. The Golden Griffins maintain a 36-31 advantage in the series.
Last year, the Peacocks defeated Canisius by identical scores of of 65-61 on January 5th at home and on January 15th in Buffalo, NY.
