Box Score The Saint Peter's University Peacocks (8-16, 3-11 MAAC) travel to Lawrenceville, NJ this evening to match up agaisnt Garden State Rival, Rider University (13-13, 8-6 MAAC).
Both teams faced off on January 17th in the Yanitelli Center, with the Broncs coming out on top, 66-54.
This will be the 52nd meeting between Saint Peter's and Rider. The Broncs maintain a 28-23 advantage in the series.
The Peacocks enter today's contest following a 72-62 win over Siena in Jersey City last Sunday. Saint Peter's trailed the Saints by seven at half-time, but were able to out-score the Saints by a 40-23 margin in the second stanza; with almost half of their points (17) coming from the free-throw line. The Peacocks shot 17-21 from the charity stripe in the half.
Washington finished the contest with a game-high 24 points; going 5-7 from the field, 4-5 from three-point range and 10-10 from the line.
Rider comes in following a 78-71 loss to Iona on Saturday in New Rochelle, NY.
